Everybody needs a successful life to live in the society. A person can earn income through different sources that can be job or business. Therefore, astrology is helpful to predict the source of income through which a person earns his livelihood. Business is the only source of income that provides freedom of work and finance. Almost everyone wishes to own a business, but movement of planets do not provide same opportunities to everyone.

The possibility of owning and running a business for a person is predicted from 2nd, 7th and 9th house in a horoscope. If the planetary conditions in 2nd, 7th and 9th houses supports the ascendant in the 10th house, then it is for sure that a person will own a business. The more strong the house is, the more profitable the person's business will be. Mercury is the planet ruling the source of business.

When the planets are not compatible with each other, then a person will be owning a small scale business or none. If the lord of 2nd house is placed in the ascendant and Mercury is in a good position, then one will start a business at a very early age.

If the 2nd house in the horoscope is bothered by destructive planets, then a person will find difficulty in doing business in a partnership. The situation will happen again if the 7th house is bothered by destructive planets and the lord of 2nd and 7th house are equal.

On the other hand, if the planets in the 7th house are favorable such as Mercury, Moon or Jupiter or if the 2nd house is afflicted with troubles or the lords of 2nd and 7th house are not at a uniform position, then the person can do business with his life partner or with a friend of an opposite sex.

If 2nd and 7th house are placed equally in a chart and Mercury is in 7th or 2nd house, then a person can do partnership with any person in a business.

2nd and 11th house control finances and to be successful in a business both the houses must be in a better combination with the lucky planets. If 2nd house is in a good position but 11th is in a bad position then the person can do small scale business or if the business is doing well at the start then most likely after a few years the business may run in losses.

If 11th house is bothered with destructive planets then a person may not get success in any kind of business. If the 11th house is strong and a person is not lucky enough, then it is difficult for a person to get successful in a business. Therefore, to get success in business, the 2nd and 11th house must be strong enough to develop a source for business.

Mercury represents business in the horoscope of a person. If Mercury is strong in the 2nd house, then a person is blessed with a business mind. When Mercury is in synergy with Moon and builds a connection with luck, then the person can do better in a business.
